The rain speaks in tears …

Xanthorrhoea, aka grass tree, Narrogin, Western Australia, takes twenty years to bloom, resistant to fire and droughts, it can live for hundreds of years.

Prettier tear drops,
you’ll not see
than the ones, left by me.

    1. Dr T saved a couple in our first house and created the garden around them. He loves native flora. Good luck with yours.
Have you seen the paddock of grass trees in Nilgen, north of Lancelin. Pretty cool.

      1. Perhaps I have been through there a few times, but other places stay with me, just so glorious. We had one in a Perth house that I moved from the farm, but a friend we rented to killed it!!!!

      2. Oh no! I thought they were difficult to transplant. I’ll post some pics on the Nilgen reserve one of these days when I find them. Hundreds of kangaroo there too one morning. I thought it was very special! lol but that’s me!
