Su over at Zimmerbitch has invited us to a virtual tea party, so I’m contributing with my one bowl chocolate cake with ganache and Ferrero Rocher crumble, all home made (other than crumble) made late last night and ready to be enjoyed now.

Great idea! I had planned on baking more but with no one else to eat the goodies, I decided, cake will do.

I know the feeling. Luckily the Big T is happy to hoover up whatever I bake and I’ve made things that keep quite well (apart from the fig tarts, but they didn’t have to).

Those fresh figs looked delicious. I love them wrapped with prosciutto and drilled with balsamic!

I’m not keen on cooked figs. I find they taste sweeter but with balsamic, there’s some contrast to the sweetness.

Oh my, that looks deliciously comforting, Dawn. I’m rather partial to chocolate cake, especially those with covered with a rich ganache. To die for. I’m so enjoying this tea party. I get to eat all the cakes without the calories that go with it. Thank you, Dawn. Glad you joined in too. It is nice being with all my favourite people.
