Word of the Day Challenge: Orientation

Jasmine, in my garden
Turning my back to yesterday,
when winter roared and rain lashed in fury
at dawn, I oriented to a new day
In the garden silence, I found,
like thoughts, the jasmine flowers no longer bloomed,
they were shed, so I could inhale
the sweet perfume of storm memory.
