My Otherness

DSCN7132

In my youth
I was smooth
silky to touch
my skin scented warm
with love and laughter
The years have rolled on
In the silence of one
scorched cold by the sun
the memories

I was here once.

    1. So glad it did, VJ. That’s what I love about writing. Done in isolation and coming from a deep personal space and yet it connects with someone else’s truth. Thank you so much.
